Grief, Growth and One Big Leap of Faith

Dear Universe,

Please be gentle. I'm taking a leap of faith here.

Like all humans, my life has been filled with loss and grief, but none as impactful as the loss of Adeline, who, I know you know, was stillborn.

The depths of my grief, unimaginable. And also eye-opening.

Losing her sparked something deep inside of me and it's been a slow burn for over a decade. A deep, eternal question: What are you doing with your life? You're meant for so much more than this.

Here I am, One Year Later

As I sit here today, one year after leaving my corporate job and starting my own coaching business, bravely stepping into what's next for me. What's true, authentic, raw and a little scary for me.

A path that will leave my heart exposed. A path I am finally willing and able to carry.

For the Woman Who Grieves and also Wants to LIVE

I'm pivoting my coaching business to serve and care for women who've experienced significant loss. The type that triggers a deep desire to both honor their grief and also LIVE a full and meaningful life.

I know not all grief is or needs to be a catalyst for growth.

But for those women who do experience a desire to change their lives after loss, I'm ready to serve them. Because I've been there — in the depths of despair with this urge to burn it all down and start over.

Into the Depths We Go

I'm willing to hold this sacred space.

I'm willing to be vulnerable and trust that you will support me so I can be present for others.

Our culture in the US doesn't provide a lot of space for women to grieve, both our individual losses and our collective ones. For generations, we've been holding it; it's seeped into our bones, into our DNA.

It's time to heal. I am ready to support that.

A Prayer and a Promise

So universe, please go easy on me as I step into this new chapter. As I expose my heart. As I witness our grief AND encourage our ability to live outrageously beautiful, meaningful, and joyful lives.

This is my work.

This is my legacy.

This is her legacy.

This is our legacy.

This is for our collective healing.
